Mexican drug lord El Chapo shown to media after his recapture

Mexican drug lord Joaquin ''El Chapo'' Guzman has been paraded before the media by the security forces who recaptured him.

He was seen being bundled into a helicopter, which is flying him back to the same prison near Mexico City he fled last July.

Guzman escaped through a 1.5km (mile) long tunnel dug in the showers, sparking a huge manhunt.

He was apprehended following a shoot-out with Mexican marines in Los Mochis, a coastal city in his home state of Sinaloa, north-west Mexico.
