Octopuses fight on the sea floor
Octopuses, long seen as largely solitary creatures, may have more complex social interactions than previously believed, say Australian and US searchers.
Octopuses that stand tall, turn dark and spread their web are likely showing aggression, while those who have lost a fight or who are trying to avoid conflict may display a pale colour.
