Hague: 'Col Gaddafi may have left country'

The Foreign Secretary, William Hague, said he has seen information which suggests that the Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi may now be on his way to Venezuela.

Mr Hague was speaking in Brussels at the end of an EU foreign ministers meeting, which strongly condemned the Libyan government's repression of protestors.
