Colonel Gaddafi's number two talks exclusively to the BBC

The man considered by many to have been Colonel Gaddafi's number two has told the BBC that the he believes the Libyan leader will fight to the death, rather than step down.

Interior Minister Gen Abdel Fattah Younes al-Abidi - who resigned on Wednesday - was speaking exclusively to the BBC's World Affairs editor John Simpson.

Mr Younes called on the Libyan people to help "put and end to this bloody regime".
