Key Iranian official steps down
The former Iranian President, Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani - one of the architects of the Islamic Republic - has lost his position as the head of one of the country's most influential bodies.
Mr Rafsanjani declined to stand for re-election as the Chairman of the Assembly of Experts, a body which chooses Iran's Supreme Leader.
