Yemen: Police clash with protesters 'killing 50'
More than 50 protesters are reported to have been killed in the Yemeni city of Taez, since Sunday, according to a UN human rights officials.
A series of explosions and shooting were heard overnight in the capital, Sanaa, where troops loyal to the president are trying to crush anti-government rallies.
Footage from May 30th showed abandoned streets in the city of Taiz after police reportedly placed the city under lockdown.
