Yemeni president 'will be back' despite protests

The Yemeni President, Ali Abdullah Saleh, has long claimed that only he can tackle the challenge of al-Qaeda in the country.

While he is in Saudi Arabia undergoing treatment for the injuries he received an attack last week, reports have emerged that nine soldiers were killed fighting Islamic militants in the south.

There has been much speculation the President won't return from Saudi Arabia, but his nephew, Yahya Saleh, has told the BBC he would, despite months of protests demanding his resignation. Lina Sinjab reports from Sanaa.
