Anti-regime protesters gather in Syria

Security is tight in the Syrian capital Damascus as the country braces itself for another Friday of mass protests.

Footage released on YouTube appears to be showing hundreds of anti-regime protesters demonstrating in Kusweh City, near Damascus on Friday. The protesters can be heard chanting "long live Syria, down with Bashar al-Asad".

International journalists have been denied access to Syria, making it difficult to verify reports.
