Libyan rebels 'gain control of Zawiya'

Rebels in Libya claim they have gained control of the centre of Zawiya, west of Tripoli.

The BBC's Rupert Wingfield-Hayes says the area has been the scene of intense clashes throughout the night, but rebels had successfully driven pro-Gaddafi forces out east of the town towards Tripoli.
