Iran embassy protest: President Obama condemns attack
US President Barack Obama has condemned an attack on the British embassy in Iran, calling for the Iranian government to "hold those who are responsible to task".
Protesters in Tehran stormed the compound during a protest against the tightening of British sanctions on Iran over its nuclear programme.
Mr Obama said nations had a duty to "protect diplomatic outposts", and that the attack was "an indication that the Iranian government is not taking its international obligations seriously".
