Gunfire heard in Homs, Syria, during BBC interview

A BBC discussion with Aboud, a Syrian in Homs, was interrupted by the sound of gunfire and explosions on Tuesday.

Homs is one of the areas at the centre of the ongoing anti-government protests that began in Syria ten months ago.

The UN estimates more than 5,000 people have been killed in violence relating to the uprising.
