Beirut clashes over Syrian conflict

Tensions over the conflict in Syria has led to violence in neighbouring Lebanon.

Several people were reported killed in street battles in the capital, Beirut.

Lebanese security forces have now restored order in Sunni-dominated neighbourhoods, where supporters and opponents of the Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad, clashed overnight.
