UN says at least 34 children died in Syria attack
The Foreign Secretary, William Hague, has said he will summon Syria's most senior diplomat in the UK over an attack in which more than 90 people died in a town near Homs.
He said the Foreign Office's political director would make clear to the Syrian charge d'affaires, the government's condemnation of his regime's actions.
Syrian authorities have denied responsibility for the mass-killing in the town of Houla.
The UN mission chief in Damascus, Major General Robert Mood, said more than 34 children had been killed. He described the attack as absolutely unacceptable.
