Obama and Putin agree violence in Syria must end
The leaders of the US and Russia have called for an immediate end to violence in Syria..
Following talks between the two countries in Mexico, US President Barack Obama said "we agreed that we need to see a cessation of the violence", and vowed all powers would work together to find a solution to the conflict.
Vladimir Putin told the news conference the two leaders had found "many common points on this issue".
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Los Cabos, was the first between the pair since Mr Putin had become president of Russia again.
