UN warning over Syrian conflict
Up to three million people in Syria are likely to need food as well as help with crops and livestock over the next year as fierce fighting in the country continues according to the United Nations.
The UN says the conflict has stopped farmers from harvesting their crops.
Heavy fighting is continuing in the capital and also in the largest city, Aleppo, where reports say that rebels have launched an attack on the main military airbase.
