Syria unrest: Further clashes in Aleppo and Damascus
Heavy shelling and gunfire has continued in the Syrian cities of Damascus and Aleppo, with government forces bombarding areas where rebels are thought to be entrenched.
The clashes come hours after a UN General Assembly vote criticising its own Security Council for failing to act on the situation, and the organisation's condemnation of the Syrian government for its use of violence.
