Muslim Brotherhood says Morsi 'not out to grab power'

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood party has defended President Morsi's determination to go ahead with a referendum on a new draft constitution.

Thousands of protestors have gathered in Cairo's Tahrir Square to demonstrate against the proposed changes. A security fence outside the Presidential Palace was also breached.

Speaking on the BBC's World Have Your Say, demonstrator Maha Ein Abawi said she found many aspects of the new constitution "absolutely terrifying".

But Gehad el-Haddad, a senior advisor to the Muslim Brotherhood, denied that the president was "out to grab power".
