Arab Idol: Thousands of fans at Rafah crossing homecoming

Thousands of screaming fans have gathered at the Rafah crossing, between Gaza and Egypt, to greet homecoming Arab Idol winner Mohammed Assaf.

The 23-year-old Palestinian was a virtual unknown until a few weeks ago, but has now become a local hero after winning the talent show on Saturday.
