Muslim Brotherhood: General Sisi 'calling for civil war'
The Muslim Brotherhood has accused Egypt's army chief of 'calling for a civil war after General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi called for demonstrations on Friday to endorse the army's efforts to combat terrorism.
Speaking at a military graduation ceremony, General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi urged demonstrators to give the security forces a mandate to confront what he described as violence and terror.
A spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood, Mohamed el-Beltagy, said General Sisi had installed himself as leader of Egypt, and was clearly concerned that position was under threat.
