Egypt state of emergency: Stand-off in approach to Nasr City
Violent clashes appear to be continuing in the approach to Nasr City in Cairo, after a state of emergency was declared.
Pictures from Egypt's ON TV appear to show a stand-off with rocks being thrown and tear gas being fired.
Earlier, scores of people were killed when security forces stormed two protest camps in the city.
The camps had been occupied by supporters of former president Mohammed Morsi, who was deposed in early July.
