Egypt unrest: 'Brotherhood were shooting', says eyewitness

David Michel, from the Free Egyptians Party, says he was an eyewitness as police started to warn Muslim Brotherhood to leave the main protest camp at Rabaa al-Adawiya Square in Cairo on Wednesday.

More than 500 people were killed nationwide after security forces broke up two camps of Muslim Brotherhood protesters who were demanding President Mohammed Morsi's reinstatement.

Mr Michel said he saw members of the Muslim Brotherhood use fire arms -"I found an officer who had been shot right beside me".
