Syria crisis: UK vote seen as 'one less foe to worry about'

The vote by UK MPs vote blocking British military action is being seen as a victory in Syria, with "one less foe to worry about".

Meanwhile, UN chemical weapons inspectors in Damascus have been visiting a government-run hospital.

The inspectors have spent several days visiting rebel-held areas on the outskirts of Damascus.

They are due to leave Syria on Saturday, and will then start analysing test samples and compiling their report into the incident.

The BBC's Middle East Editor Jeremy Bowen, one of the few western journalists in Damascus, reports.
