France has 'no doubt' Assad behind gas attack
The French foreign minister has said he had "no doubt" that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was responsible for the sarin gas attack in Damascus last month.
The comments were in direct contract to those of his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, who said Moscow had "very serious grounds" to believe the attack had been a provocation by rebel forces.
Speaking in Moscow, Laurent Fabius told reporters that the technical expertise needed to launch the rockets suggested the country's military were involved.
