Syria conflict: Turkey calls for humanitarian response
The international community has failed the people of Syria and neighbouring countries affected by the crisis, the Turkish foreign minister has said.
Ahmet Davutoglu told the BBC's Jeremy Bowen he welcomed a UN Security Council draft resolution to eliminate Syria's chemical weapons.
But he added that the region was "begging" for a humanitarian response, or "all the diplomatic manoeuvres or tactics... will not be helpful."
