Syria conflict: Row over Iran invite to peace talks
The UN should withdraw its invitation to Iran to join peace talks on Syria, the US and the western-backed Syrian opposition have said.
Saudi Arabia also strongly opposes Iran's involvement in the talks without its acceptance of the aim of creating a transitional government.
Walid Saffour, the Syrian National Coalition's UK ambassador, told the BBC: "We will not participate if Iran is there - unless they withdraw their troops from Syria and commit themselves to the principles of Geneva 1."
