Syria conflict: Talks hope for besieged Homs

Women and children may be able to leave the Syrian city of Homs as early as Monday morning, the UN mediator at the Geneva peace talks has said.

Briefing journalists at the end of a second day of meetings, Lakhdar Brahimi said that the government had agreed that women and children were "welcome to leave immediately."
