Bulk of Syria's chemical weapons 'removed', says Sigrid Kaag
The head of the international organisation overseeing the elimination of Syria's chemical weapons says Damascus still holds 8% of its chemical arsenal.
Sigrid Kaag was speaking just hours before a midnight deadline for the Syrian government to hand over all its stockpile.
The head of the joint team from the United Nations and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) met the BBC in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
