Struggle for Iraq: Gunfight to keep militants at bay in Jalula
The turmoil in Iraq has moved closer to the capital, Baghdad, with government forces locked in a brutal battle with Islamist militants 60km (35 miles) from the city.
The militants led by the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (Isis), and other Sunni groups around the city of Baquba, have been held back by Shi'ite militias and security forces.
The BBC's Paul Wood reports from the nearby town of Jalula.
