Struggle for Iraq: John Kerry on Iraq's 'central challenge'

US Secretary of State John Kerry has told Kurdish leaders in northern Iraq that forming an inclusive Iraqi government is of vital importance to defeating jihadist militants threatening to take over the country.

At a meeting with the President of Iraqi Kurdistan, Massouud Barzani, in the city of Irbil, Mr Kerry also praised the role that Kurdish forces have played in trying to contain the militants.
