Journalists at BBC New Broadcasting House in London have staged a mass protest against the seven-year jail sentences handed to al-Jazeera journalists by a judge in Egypt.
Hundreds joined the London protest and staff in overseas bureaux also marked the occasion, posting selfies to social media using the hashtags #JournalismIsNotACrime, external, #FreeAJStaff, external and #FreeJournalism, external.
