'Violence is not the path' says slain Israeli youth's uncle

An uncle of one of three Israeli teenagers who were kidnapped and killed in the West Bank has called for restraint to be shown on both sides.

Yishai Frenkel was speaking as a delay was announced in the funeral of a young Palestinian abducted and killed in Jerusalem.

His murder on Wednesday raised tensions amid claims it was in revenge for the killing of three Israeli youths, whose funerals took place on Tuesday.

Yishai Frenkel, the uncle of Naftali Frenkel, told BBC Radio 5 live his nephew's death was ''tragic beyond belief'' but the path of retaliation was not the answer.
