'Scrambling for cover' in Ashkelon as tanks mass

The BBC's James Reynolds is in Ashkelon, Israel where he described hearing air-raid sirens and saw people rushing for cover amid the threat of Palestinian militant rockets.

Israel said it had intercepted eight rockets over Tel Aviv, Ashkelon and Ashdod on Wednesday morning.

Israel's military said that overnight it had targeted 118 concealed rocket launchers, 10 Hamas command and control centres and 10 tunnels.
