Deaths rise in Israeli air strikes on Gaza

Tensions remain high between Israel and militants in Gaza after a night of fighting on both sides.

The Gaza Health Ministry said several people were killed in attacks on a house and a beach cafe in Khan Younis in the south.

The Israeli military said that it had attacked 108 targets since midnight and that 12 rockets had been fired at Israel from Gaza.
