Dozens killed in Kirkuk suicide blast
A suicide car bomber has killed at least 30 people on the outskirts of Kirkuk, according to a senior security source in the disputed northern Iraqi city.
Iraqi Kurds took control of Kirkuk last month, expanding the area under their control and the Kurdish government has said it is preparing for a referendum on independence from Iraq within months.
On Friday, Iraqi Kurds seized two oilfields amid a growing dispute with the government in Baghdad.
