Hamas spokesman says Egypt truce plan is 'like an ambush'

Israel says it has resumed bombardment of Gaza after earlier accepting a truce proposal, as Hamas continued firing.

Hamas, insists it was not involved in the ceasefire negotiations - and that it cannot therefore be expected to observe any truce.

Hamas spokesman, Sami Abu Zuhri, says Hamas "will continue defending our people, and fighting."
