Israeli air strike hits 'Hamas media building' in Gaza

An Israeli airstrike has hit the Hamas-run Al-Aqsa television and radio building in central Gaza City.

Israeli aircraft also fired at the house of the former Hamas Prime Minister, Ismail Haniyeh. The house was thought to be empty at the time.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned of a "prolonged" military campaign in Gaza, saying Israel would continue to act until it had achieved its aim of destroying Hamas' network of underground tunnels.
