Mers virus: Inside Saudi disease command and control centre

Health officials in Saudi Arabia say they are doing all they can to avoid an outbreak of the new deadly Mers virus at this year's Hajj pilgrimage.

Middle East Repertory Syndrome has killed just over 300 people in the Kingdom since it first emerged there in 2012.

Officials have been accused of not doing enough to contain the outbreak, but the country's acting health minister has told the BBC the situation is now under control.

The BBC's Global Health Correspondent Tulip Mazumdar was given exclusive access to the Kingdom's new Central Command and Control Centre in Jeddah, where experts are monitoring the virus.
