Sunni tribesman on IS massacre: 'I hid between bodies'

Tribal leaders in Iraq say more than 630 members of a Sunni tribe in Iraq have been killed by fighters from the so-called Islamic State in the past two weeks.

Sheikh Naeem Al Gaoud, of the powerful Al-Bu Nimr tribe, told the BBC the dead included women and children.

The number of dead cannot be independently confirmed. The tribe has been targeted for opposing IS in Anbar province.

BBC News has obtained rare testimony from a man who says he survived one of the massacres in which about 100 tribal fighters were shot dead.
