Islamic State 'demands Japan hostages ransom'

The Islamic State group appears to have issued a video showing a militant threatening to kill two Japanese hostages unless Japan pays a ransom.

In the video, which has not been independently verified, a masked man criticises Japan for pledging aid to countries fighting Islamic State (IS).

He says he will kill the two men unless a $200m (£130m) ransom is paid within 72 hours.
