Shock at Egypt blogger's sentence
A court in Egypt has sentenced prominent pro-democracy activist Alaa Abdel Fattah to five years in jail for breaking a law that bans protests without a police permit.
His lawyers and relatives say the charges are politically motivated and baseless.
Mr Fattah and other defendants were sentenced to 15 years in absentia in June last year, but a retrial was ordered.
