Yemen: John Kerry warning to Iran over 'support for Houthis'

US Secretary of State John Kerry has warned Iran over its alleged backing for anti-government Houthi rebels in Yemen.

In a television interview with PBS Newshour, Mr Kerry said the US would support any country in the Middle East that felt threatened by Iran.

He said: "Iran needs to recognise that the United States is not going to stand by while the region is destabilised."
