Suez project: Egyptians divided over expansion
Egypt is about to unveil its expansion to the Suez Canal, one of the most important trade corridors in the world.
It took a year to build, and has cost some $8.5bn (£5.4bn).
The Egyptian government, though, hopes the new lane will double the waterway's shipping capacity and encourage more global trade at a time when the economy needs a boost.
The BBC's Sally Nabil went to the city of Ismailiya, on the banks of the canal, to ask what ordinary Egyptians make of it.
