Syria UK airstrikes: 'Air bombardment not enough to beat IS'

British warplanes have carried out air strikes over Syria, after British MPs backed UK military action against so-called Islamic State (IS).

Ammar Sinan is a businessman from the Syrian capital, Damascus.

He spoke to the BBC's Lina Sinjab about the UK's bombing of IS in Syria, saying bombing alone was not enough.

Of IS funding from oil sales, Mr Sinan said "sometimes you have to deal with the devil" as Syria's power plants were fuel-dependent.
