Living in the shadow of Iraq's crumbling Mosul Dam

Iraq's Mosul Dam has been called a ticking time bomb - close to failure - with the lives of hundreds of thousands of civilians under threat.

The dam holds back 12 billion cubic metres of water, providing power for millions of homes and irrigation for thousands of farms.

Serious erosion at the flood gates has left the entire structure close to collapse.

BBC News spoke to two farmers who live in the shadow of the structure about their fears if the dam were to burst.
