Amateur videos spark Saudi religious police debate

Saudi Arabian authorities have moved to curb the powers of the religious police, after a spate of amateur videos claiming to show them abusing their powers.

The new regulation imposes a ban on members of the Committee for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice from chasing or arresting suspects.

However, the decision has proved controversial, as the BBC's Hanan Razek reports from Riyadh.
