Yazidi girl forced by IS captors to build bombs

In 2014, jihadist militants from so-called Islamic State (IS) swept across north-western Iraq and rounded up thousands of members of the Yazidi religious minority in an attempt to completely erase their way of life.

Men and boys over the age of 12 were summarily killed if they refused to convert.

Women and children were forcibly transferred to locations elsewhere in Iraq and in neighbouring Syria, where at least 3,200 are still being held as slaves.

BBC Persian's Nafiseh Kohnevard travelled to a camp for displaced people in Iraq where one girl who escaped says she was forced to make bombs for IS.
