'Aleppo destruction like Dresden' - Miliband

International Red Cross chief David Miliband says the Syria crisis is "plumbing new depths", with scenes in Aleppo as bad as Dresden in 1945.

Mr Miliband told Radio 4's The World Tonight UN envoy Staffan de Mistura's offer personally to accompany al-Qaeda-linked jihadists out of the city was a mark of the desperation felt about the crisis.
