Al Jazeera director: 'Accusations are a red herring'

Giles Trendle, acting managing director of Al Jazeera English, says the Qatari media organisation must not be shut down despite demands from Arab states.

Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain have demanded it be closed or they say they will continue to impose severe sanctions against Qatar.
