Iraq: Armed protests lead to injuries in Baghdad
Hundreds of protesters clashed with security forces in Iraq's capital Baghdad after influential Shia Muslim cleric Moqtada al-Sadr said he was withdrawing from political life.
His announcement followed months of deadlock over the formation of a new government in Iraq.
Sadr has since told his supporters to end their protests and the deadly fighting appears to have subsided.
