Israel-Gaza war: Protesters clash with security forces in Ramallah

Tear gas was fired at demonstrators protesting in the city of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, after a deadly blast at a hospital in Gaza left hundreds dead.

Protesters opposed to the rule of the Fatah-led Palestinian Authority (PA) clashed with Palestinian security forces.

The AFP news agency said people in the crowd called for PA President Mahmoud Abbas to quit over his response to the conflict between Israel and his political rivals Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
